While Change the World actively funds the projects in each community, the production costs for making each documentary comes from individuals and corporations.

Individuals and corporations can make 100% tax-deductible donations to Change the World for the film production costs.

Change the World has full DGR (Deductable Gift Recipient) status through the Documentary Australia Foundation.

How do I make a tax deductible donation to Change the World?

Step 1

Contact Anne Tindall or David Hughes.

Email: Anne Tindall – anne@changetheworld.com.au    Phone: 61(0)418990637

Anne can supply you with a form that you can use to submit to the Documentary Australia Foundation.

Step 2

Contact the Documentary Australia Foundation to make your grant.

Change the World has been certified by the Documentary Australia Foundation as an eligible DGR project and is listed on their website www.documentaryaustralia.com.au

According to the Documentary Australia Foundation guidelines, grant-makers will be asked five key questions in order to award a grant to Change the World through the Documentary Australia Foundation. These answers will be the basis for approving the grant to Change the World.

1. What is the proposed level of your grant to Change the World ($A)?

This is where you nominate how much you are donating to the Change the World documentary.

2. Would you prefer to support the general operations of the Documentary Australia Foundation or a particular documentary (or documentaries) on the Documentary Australia Foundation Approved List?

This is where you nominate Change the World!

3. Which subject area of documentary would you like to support: Aged, Arts, Disability, Education, Environment, Health and Wellbeing, Human Rights, Indigenous, Refugees, Rural, Social Justice, Sport/Adventure, Welfare, Youth, Other (please specify).

This is where you nominate Change the World!

4. Why is this film suitable for philanthropic support?

Very easy to answer with Change the World projects. Anne and David can help you answer this.

5. Are you (or key members of your organisation) related to the filmmakers of your preferred documentary? If so, how? Please note, the Documentary Australia Foundation Board will not willingly approve documentary grant proposals to films of related party interests.
